Job Overview
- 5–10 years of experience in electrical commissioning, preferably in Oil & Gas
- Plan and execute electrical commissioning activities for projects, including LV switchgear, motors, lighting, and control systems.
- Review and validate electrical designs, drawings, and documentation before commissioning.
- Develop commissioning plans, test procedures, checklists, and method statements.
- Coordinate with OEMs
- Perform pre-commissioning checks and functional testing of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues found during testing and commissioning phases.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout all commissioning processes.
- Coordinate with project teams, construction teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Generate detailed commissioning reports, punch lists, and handover documentation.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including switchgear, motor protection relays, protection systems, PLCs, SCADA, motors, LCS, DBs, etc.
- Familiarity with international standards such as IEC
- Hands-on experience with electrical testing equipment (megger, hi-pot tester, multi-meter, etc.).
- Working knowledge of safety protocols like LOTO
