Planning and Scheduling Engineer vacancy in Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Establish and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), critical path schedules, and milestone tracking.
  • Coordinate with project managers, design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of schedule activities.
  • Integrate cost and schedule data for earned value management (EVM) and performance reporting.
  • Support project planning workshops and risk reviews.
  • Analyze progress updates, identify schedule variances, and recommend recovery actions.
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports, including dashboards, look-aheads, and delay analysis.
  • Ensure alignment with PMO protocols, client reporting templates, and planning standards.
  • Monitor the impact of design and construction changes on the overall schedule and update the baseline accordingly.
  • Provide planning support during procurement, contract award, and construction execution phases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling, particularly on infrastructure projects in the Middle East.
  • Experience working in a PMO or PMC environment is essential.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of planning principles, scheduling techniques, and delay analysis.
  • Familiarity with earned value management (EVM), KPIs, and performance reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
