Technicians are expected to perform maintenance and repairs to rotary screw compressors, condensers, evaporators, boilers, pumps, valves, fans, piping, mechanical drives, electric motors, and industrial control systems, HVAC systems, dock equipment and general facility repairs.
Technicians are required to respond to and remediate releases of anhydrous ammonia
Maintain a proactive approach to ensure maximum efficiency and longer run-time of production line manufacturing equipment.
Produces consistently high-quality work to ensure excellent levels of customer satisfaction
Ability to read service manuals and understand electrical drawings and fault-finding procedures
Ability to understand and implement the manufacturer’s standard working instructions within specified repair times.
Able to demonstrate knowledge of components & systems including electrics & hydraulics
Liaison with the Maintenance Manager to ensure the timely availability of parts for repair works and report
Discrepancies with the Line Manager on time.
Ensures cost-effective use of materials and available time to maintain the highest productivity levels
Perform non-technical assignments as requested by Maintenance management.
Follows safety procedures for the safe working of self and colleagues
