Position Summary

  • Working from the Project Office to support the Project Execution team. The incumbent will interact with the site team to collate EH&S data for analysis.
  • The incumbent is responsible for establishing databases that provide an opportunity to track all EH&S incident data at the project.
  • The incumbent is expected to have good knowledge of EH&S throughout all phases of construction and commissioning.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Collect and manage EHS data from various sources, including incident reports, safety inspections,
    compliance audits, observation register.
  • Analyze EHS data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern.
  • Support the development and implementation of safety campaigns.
  • Track the close-out of actions through Aman.
  • Participate in RCAs when requested.
  • Generate regular reports (Monthly, quarterly, or Annual) on EHS performance, including incident
    rates, compliance levels, and progress towards EHS goals.
  • Work closely with other EHS staff to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Utilize data analysis tools and software to effectively manage and analyze EHS data.
  • Assist in the development of EHS policies and procedures based on data analysis.
  • Support EHS audits and inspections by providing necessary data and analysis.
  • Train other staff and contractors on data collection and reporting procedures as necessary.
  • Stay current on local, national, and international EHS regulations to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Participate in EHS meetings and present data analysis findings.
  • Be familiar with all BSP tools and use them.
  • Attend EH&S meetings and prepare MoM.
  • Support the contractor in monitoring their action tracking registers.
  • Support training and awareness campaigns.
  • Update on the information on the EHS board.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Environmental Science, Data Science, Occupational Safety, or
    related field.
  • English language capability—reading and writing (reading, writing, & speaking).
  • Proven experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software and tools such as SAP-EM, Qliksense, MS Forms, and Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different stakeholders.
    Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

  • Prior experience in an EH&S role.
  • Certification in data analysis or a related field.
  • Arabic language skills
