Responsibilities
- Providing pre-contract cost management services, conducting feasibility studies, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. This includes aligning cost management products with company budgets, preparing and submitting cost estimates, creating tender documents, managing the tender process, and reporting on all related activities.
- Cost planning, ongoing cost studies, cost control, and ways to improve project costs.
- Evaluating project work and arranging payments, as well as preparing final accounts and contract management
- Preparing and submitting reports to clients.
- Managing and supervising all aspects of the quantity surveying work for our projects
- Leading quantity surveyors on projects and providing guidance and support to them
- Reviewing documents and performance of subcontractors and suppliers
- Resolving contractual disputes and claims with contractors and preparing client claims
- Preparing and submitting project cost and progress reports
Skills
- Proficiency in project estimation and pricing software.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong project management skills.
- Effective negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience in budget management and cost control.
Preferred Candidate
- 10+ years of post-graduate demonstrable Experience in all aspects of pre-contract quantity surveying
- The last 3+ years of Experience must be in Saudi Arabia
- The last 3+ years of Experience must be with a good reputation contracting company on pre-contract projects
- Sound knowledge and practical Experience in cost estimating and planning processes.
- Practical knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.
- Arabic language skills, as well as English language written and oral skills
- Having a Transferable Iqama
- Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management principles
