Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Document Controller to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our document control systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely distribution of critical information.
- Develop and maintain a robust document control system for all forms of documentation
- Implement and follow company quality assurance program procedures
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely document edits, approvals, and distribution
- Track and maintain accurate records of all documents throughout their lifecycle
- Prepare and distribute copies of documents to appropriate personnel
- Ensure all completed documents are signed off by the relevant authorities
- Revise distribution systems and schedules as required to meet project deadlines
- Conduct regular audits of the document control system to ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations
- Collaborate with team members to improve document control processes and implement new technologies
- Maintain the integrity and security of sensitive documents
- Generate regular reports on document status, distribution, and compliance for management review
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in document control, preferably in a multinational corporate environment
- Proficiency in document management systems and databases
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and SharePoint
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
- Experience in conducting system audits and preparing compliance reports
- In-depth knowledge of industry-standard document control practices and procedures
- Familiarity with local regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team environment
- Adaptability to new technologies and software related to document management
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to improving document control processes
- Knowledge of Arabic language is beneficial
