Data Handling & Tech Support Specialist vacancy in Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities

·         Assess and verify Configuration data updates and prepare these updates for inclusion within the ILS database.

·         Provide Technical/ Logistics Support for the Engineering Changes, Modifications and Technical Instructions associated with the Al Jawf Class Engineering Systems and its shore side supporting facilities, including the Specialised Shore Side Workshops and the Land and Sea Magnetic & Acoustic Ranges.

·         Coordinate obsolescence issues within the RSNF Engineering Authority undertake subsequent analysis of stock and usage data. Compile Engineering Briefs for RSNF Officers.

·           Contribute to level 4 Technical Meetings as a SME Attend other meetings and liaise with other Directorates of the RSNF, as required. Comply with all RSNF directives safety procedures and maintain confidentiality of RSNF and Hunter Project data at all times. 

Job Requirements:

·         Essential:

·         Educated to degree level in Engineering or equivalent professional Engineering qualification or a combination of training, experience and BTEC National Certification in Engineering (minimum) which provides an equivalent educational standard.

·         knowledge and experience with the control and validation of Configuration Data and      the  processes for data change in the field of Technical/ Logistics Engineering Support.

·         Working knowledge and experience of an ILS computer database.

·         Working knowledge of Obsolescence Management.

·         Experience of Workplace Health & Safety.

·         Desirable:

·         Mine Hunter Engineering experience.

·         Experience in various stages of the Engineering through life support and equipment Life Cycle Management

·         Knowledge of ITAR.
