Job Description

  • Register suppliers/components/materials, evaluate the performance and qualification/ certification along with the Maintenance and Reliability Engineering function and supply department.
  • Register the assets list (equipment, tools and instruments) used in the works of Maintenance and keep it updated.
  • Carry out the survey and keep the registry of spares for Maintenance updated, along with the Maintenance and Reliability Engineering function.
  • Control purchases of parts and components;
  • Update the follow-up of purchase requirements along with the supply department;
  • Establish, along with the Maintenance and Reliability Engineering function, and inform to the warehouse department the way and amount of storage of the components.
  • Communicating with suppliers to confirm availability.
  • Receiving and checking items delivered are in good conditions and that they agreed with order and delivery documentation.
  • Maintaining stock level by consulting with senior staff and raising purchase requests as required
  • Assisting with periodic stock audits.
  • Comply with reasonable EHS instructions and safe working procedures
  • Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems
  • Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures
  • Not willfully or recklessly endanger anyone’s health and safety
  • Assist with the preparation of risk assessments
  • Report EHS hazards, incidents & issues.

Academic Background

  • Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a reputable University.
